Within the age of 100 years (1908-2010), the location of the Municipality of Phnom Penh had been moved 4 times and its Board of Governor had been changed 17 persons from 1941 t0 2010
The location of the Municipality of Phnom Penh from 1908 to 1975 was along Road 106, north of Phsar Chas Park and as of now that building was privately occupied. In 1979, the office of the Municipality was situated at the former Office of Council Ministers (the location of Council Ministers Building Constructed by Chinese donation). In 1982, the office of the Municipality was moved to the building of Department of Culture and Fine Arts (the west of Council Ministers and next of the Ministry of Rural Development) and then transferred to current location since 1985
The present location was along Monivong Blvd., the ancient time, it was the resident of Catholic Bishop working at the church situated at Bayon Satellite. The current office of Capital Hall (the big and front building) was built in 1930. And the L shape building behind was constructed in 2000 and finished in 2002. The big building had never been under any heavy renovation or change from its shape so far. Below is the list of
