Vehicles Damaged Public Properties in 2012 Still Not Decreased

According to letter No. 27 លស.ចសម.គរម dated on February 22, 2011 of the Capital Hall and the letter No. 237 សជណ dated on March 01, 2011 of the Council of Ministers, the Capital Hall had filled related documents of the some vehicle that destroyed public properties to First Instance Court of Phnom Penh Capital for lawful solutions.
It would be reminded that the total number of vehicles which destroyed public properties were kept at the Capital Hall since May 21, 2009 up to June 05, 2012 were 392 (there were 122 vehicles caused the problem within 2011) which damaged to concrete road dividers, steel bar road dividers, street light poles, traffic light poles, bridge rails, trees, fence of Sakkchakmony Chetdie, independent monument roundabout, public gardens and so forth.
Moreover, within 5 months of early 2011, there were 50 cases of public property destroyed comparing to same 5 months of 2012, there were 79 cases occurred; thus 29 cases increased which need to be concerned by all drivers because those accidents due to over speeding driving, drunk driving and especially careless driving manners.
The Capital Hall would like to appeal to all citizens driving on the roads to obey the traffic law, avoid causing any accidents to others or public properties and try to follow the traffic law as the slogan said “Love Your Life, Respect Traffic Law During Driving”.
