The laterite roundabout construction was integrated to Phnom Penh administration and in order to ease traffic congestion for access road to Phnom Penh during the monthly meeting of July , H.E Governor had agreed to​ renovenate a laterite roundabout.
In the morning of July 10, 2012, at the Capital Hall, Mr. KHUONG Sreng, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh had chaired a discussion meeting for the construction of laterite roundabout project with the participation of Mr. TEMA Sophea, Deputy Chief of Dangkor District, Mr. SAM Piseth, Director of Department of Public Works and Transport and other relevant officers. The meeting had assigned the Department of Public Works and Transport to be responsible for technical issues such as: impact on trees, electricity poles, power supply network and cable lines and ​Dangkor District would conduct actual inspection on the impact to Rolous Police Administration Office and 3 houses of citizens and should find a temporary location to replace the Police Office and consult with affected citizens.
