The inauguration ceremony of concrete road construction, 615 meter length and 6 meter width from DBST street at the south of French embassy to street number 70 in 21-21 village, Sangkat Sras Chork, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh capital was presided by Mr. KOUNG Sreng, deputy governor of Phnom Penh Capital, highest representative of H.E KEP Chuktema, governor of Phnom Penh Capital on July 16th,2012.

Mr. SAM Piseth, chief of Phnom Penh Public Works and Transportation Department mentioned that because of the serious damage of street R1 and R2 and making the citizens have difficulties to travel as well as to keep away from the traffic jam in the street number 70, Phnom Penh Capital Hall has allowed the Public Works and Transportation Department to study and raise the construction budget plan of the above concrete roads, made from iron core, 615 meter length, 6 meter width, 15 cm height, located in Sras Chak Commune, by using the money of the Capital which will cost around 150,000.00 USD.

This construction process is implemented by Phnom Penh Public Works and Transportation Department within 60 days. Mr. deputy governor suggested all citizens living on both sides of the street to cooperate and make thing easy for the street construction team to proceed its work on time as scheduled.
