H.E Governor Constructs East Gate of Wat Koh Pagoda

Due to bad condition of East gate of Wat Koh Koh Pagoda located in Sangkat Boeung Raing, Khan Daun Penh along Trasak Paem Street, on 2nd February 2011, H.E Governor KEP Chuk Tema and Her Excellency, as Buddhist followers, brought 15,000 USD to finish the gate construction and some offerings to the Chief of Buddhist Monk YORK Kuy including 5 cases of orange juice, 1 case of instant noodle and 25Kg of sugar.

On that occasion, The governor said that today, a good day, himself, family members and civil servants wishes Chief of Buddhist Monk YORK Kuy healthy to continue to lead Buddhism because it plays a vital role contributing to stability and development in Phnom Penh, and as an encouragement to 90 students staying in this Pagoda, H.E governor and Her Excellency also supported them with 1 Million Riels and 200 Kg of rice. Governor stressed that Phnom Penh Capital Hall is planning to repair and built morgues for this pagoda before families send corpses to crematory
