  At the late night of 31 December 2007, ending old year and ready to reach New Year 2008, The Municipality of Phnom Penh has arranged the ceremony to welcome the universal New Year 2008 at Wat Phnom Attractive Place, which was pushed the button of fireworks by the presidency of H.E. KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh Municipality and Lok Chumteav and accompanied by Vice Governor, leaders, officers, local authorities, arm forces, and also thousands of citizens students and pupils which was created this event to be magnificent.
