• Meeting on the Unlicensed Karaoke and Night club

  On February 14, 2008 the Municipality of Phnom Penh conducted an urgent meeting to establish committee to ban and crack down on unlicensed beer garden, Night club and Karaoke in Phnom Penh under the chairmanship of H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh. the newly-established committee was formed in accordance with the recommendation of Lork Chum Teov Bun Rany HUN SEN, director of Cambodia Red Cross and also a honerary director of National Committee for Upholding Social Virtue, women and family value. During the meeting His Excellency the Governor gave an order to district authorities, chief of Phnom Penh Police forces to work together to examine all seven districts to find out how many licensed and unlicensed club and karaoke and urgently do reports to the Municipality of Phnom Penh.
