  On February 04, 2008 the Municipality of Phnom Penh held meeting to lay down plan for security and safety protection for Phnom Penh in the running up to the fourth mandate of the parliamentary election and the preparation of fine of offense vehicles. under the chairmanship of H.E KEP CHOK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh, Phnom Penh Police chief TOUCH NARUTH, said Phnom Penh police have already prepared 2.355 police forces along main targets particularly at 1188 poll stations across Phnom Penh. The security and safety protection will be carried out from election campaign to the announcement of the election results. Speaking at the ceremony, H.E KEP CHOK TEMA said Phnom Penh have enjoyed great success in the protection of security and safety to people and political parties for five times but we have to beef up more Protection.
