  • Ceremony to Name a Road Keo Chenda

On April 08, 2008 the Municipality of Phnom Penh held a ceremony to name a road Keo Chenda to commemorate former-Governor of Phnom Penh who attained substantial accomplishments in developing Phnom Penh capital during the 1980’s. According to Nhgem Saron, director of municipal department of Public Work and Transportation, the road is 130 meters long and 7-12 meters wide and has been paved with DBST and completed in April 19, 2004. Speaking at the ceremony, His Excellency the Governor expressed his profound thanks to Prime Minister Samdech HUN SEN who granted permission to the Municipality of Phnom Penh to name the road Keo Chenda.
