• Declare to Implement New Land Traffic Law

On Sept. 11, 2007 H.E SOK AN, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Office of Council of Ministers presided over a ceremony to declare the launch of the implementation of the new traffic law.

Speaking at the ceremony, H.E SOK AN said «over three mandates of the National Assembly Legislature, we all have awaited the new traffic be adopted with a view to preventing and reducing the death tolls from traffic accidents: below 5 people among 10.000 vehicles by 2010 and below two people among 10.000 vehicles by 2020 as Asian countries expected. The launch reminded the people as a whole, both pedestrians and drivers to have mutual understanding and respect the traffic law principle».
