• Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Construction of Tom Nop Kob Srev Street

On Sept. 10, 2007 H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Tom Nop Kov Srev Street for National Route 5 in Reussey Keo district to Ou Deoum Kob Srev street, in front of Ork Kroper Pagoda. NHEM SARON, Director of Phnom Penh Department of Public Works and Transport said the street is 8.200 meters long and 11 meters wide and will be paved with DBST by DAVID Construction.

Also on that occasion, His Excellency the Governor said, « On behalf of Phnom Penh residents I would express my profound thanks to Samdech Prime Minister HUN SEN who allowed the Municipality of Phnom Penh to build this road which is of important for flood protection and ring road to protect Phnom Penh.
