• Opening Training Course on Traffic Law Enforcement in Phnom Penh

On Sept. 10, 2007, the Municipality of Phnom Penh held an opening training course on Traffic Law Enforcement in Phnom Penh to police officers and officials concerned in support of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The training course was chaired by H.E TRAC THAI SIENG, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh, Mr. Masato KOTO, Advisor to JICA and Mr. SHIGERU YANAI, Expert in Traffic Law.

The purpose of the course was to improve urban traffic condition by reducing traffic congestion and accidents through the implementation of appropriate traffic management.
