- Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Construction of 8 Streets in Beoung Keng Kang III Commune

On November 06, 2007 the Municipality of Phnom Penh opened groundbreaking for the construction of last eight streets in Beoung Keng Kang III Commune, Chamkamon District in the presence of H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh, city hall officials and some 700 people. The eight streets are included:
- Street 320: 225 meters long
- Street 330: 344meters long
- Street 348: 344 meters long
- Street 368: 55 meters long
- Street 376: 312 meters long
- Street 386: 276 meters long
- Street 390: 726 meters long
- And Street 396: 567 meters long
All have seven meters wide and will be paved with DBST by David Construction. All follows 50-50 cost-sharing formula between the government and residents at an expected cost of 613 million riels of which, 441 million riels were contributed by people and the rest of money paid by the Municipality of Phnom Penh.
Also on that occasion His Excellency the Governor on behalf of Phnom Penh residents and on his own behalf expressed his profound gratitute to Samdech Prime Minister HUN SEN who always contribute his own money and provided good ideas for the Municipality of Phnom Penh to develop Phnom Penh city. To encourage the commune authorities the Governor provided them with Korean truck and motorbike to serve local people.
