Pong Tek Commune headquarters and some achievements located in Pong Tek Commune, Dangkor District were completed in support of the Municipality of Phnom Penh and were officially inaugurated on May 22, 2007 in the present of H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh.

According to Pong Tek commune chief HAK KOUY, Pong Tek is the oldest commune in Dangkor District. Speaking at the ceremony, the Governor expressed his appreciation to the works of Sangkat/Commune councilor particularly the residents who have confidence in commune councilor.
