On June 25, 2007 H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of street leading to satellite city development area constructed by Grand Phnom Penh International City located at Svey Pak commune, Reussey Keo district, Phnom Penh. The street is 30 meters wide and 1.100 meters long and will be paved with DBST by Phnom Penh Department of Public Works and Transportation. The construction follows 50-50 cost sharing formula (the city hall and above company) and will take 180 days to complete. Speaking at the ceremony, the Governor said the development made by the Royal Government started from bare hand, adding that development was affected to the people unavoidably so we need involvement from them to uphold the image of our country.
