On June 19, 2007 H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh presided over groundbreaking ceremony for the construction project to repair street 45 located at Sras Chork Commune, Daun Penh District, Phnom Penh. The street is 290 meters long and eight meters wide and will be paved with DBST. The construction will be spent 70 days to complete at an expected cost of 70 million riels. The street follows the 50-50 cost-sharing formula. Speaking at the ceremony, the Governor said in line with the recommendation of Samdech Prime Minister, the Municipality of Phnom Penh has opened groundbreaking for the construction of 128 streets that follow 50-50 cost sharing formula.
