On June 13, 2007 the Municipality of Phnom Penh held groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of two-storeyed primary school building for the Buddhist monks at KOM SAN pagoda located at Prek Bra commune, Mean Chey district, Phnom Penh under the presidency of H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh and his wife and also a representative of H.E SAR KHENG, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Interior. The building is 29 meters long and 15 meters wide and will be completed before July 2008. The school is at an expected cost of 130.000 USD, a huge amount of which financed by the City Hall and some other by generous people.
