• Ceremony to Bid for Projects to Develop Commune in Dangkor District in 2007

On June 06, 2007 Dangkor district headquarter held a ceremony to bid for projects to develop commune and district initiative projects for 2007 under the chairmanship of H.E PA SOCHEATVONG, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh.

A total of 16 projects was put for bidding, including 15 laterite road repairing projects, a main canal restoration project and capacity strengthening project at district levels.

Speaking at the meeting, H.E PA SOCHEAT VONG suggested that the projects be carried out in accordance with the instruction of the Ministry of Economics and Finance by ensuring transparency efficiency and thrift. The Deputy Governor also called on each commune procurement commission to carefully examine the company which will win the bidding by ensuring technical specifications and follow the implementation of the project in each step.
