On July 30, 2007 the Municipality of Phnom Penh help meeting on anti-human trafficking drive in the presence of H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh, police officers and city hall officials. Speaking at the ceremony, Touch Naruth said currently, human trafficking, human exploitation and women and children trafficking are increasing sharply that require authorities at all level to attach great importance to and crack down on time. The Governor took an opportunity to appeal to police forces and authorities in all the seven districts to tell Phnom Penh business owners of hotels, guest house, karaoke, massage shop, barber shop and night club to find out the law and ban them from trafficking human and drug.
