• Sewage System Installed in Phsa Kandal II Commune

On July 18, 2007 H.E MANN CHHOEURN, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a sewage system (0.5m x 414m) located in Phsa Kandal II commune, Daun Penh District. According to chief of Phsa Kandal II commune, the drainage system cost about 33.120.000 riels which is the government’s development fund provided to Sangkat/ communes annually together with 10 percent of total cost paid by the local residents.

Daun Penh district deputy chief, Mr. EK KUN DERN expressed his gratitude to H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh for his constant instruction to develop communes with a view to ensuring better environmental condition.
