• Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Construction of Street 596

On Feb 12, 2007 H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of street 596 located in Beoung Kak II Commune, Toul Kok district, Phnom Penh. The street stretches from street 592 to street 325.

The street is eight meters wide and 558 meters long and will be paved with DBST by KBP Company at an expected cost of 48 million riels. All payment is in residents' and city hall's budget. The Governor said that the residents share their own money with the government was to renovate the road in front of their house in a bid to make it easy for traveling and it also contributed to Phnom Penh development.
