• Governor Visits Construction Site of New Bridge Across Stung Prek Tnot

On Feb 10, 2007 H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh accompanied by Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh and General KONG EANG, Chief of Engineering Unit for the Ministry of Interior and authorities of Dangkor and Meanchey district inspected location for the construction of a new bridge across Stung Prek Tnot. The site is located in Dangkor Commune, Dangkor District, Phnom Penh.

The Municipality of Phnom Penh is scheduled to open groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the bridge on Feb 26, 2007 in the present of Samdech Prime Minister HUN SEN and Lork Chum Teov. The bridge to be built is 11 meters wide and 105 meters long and will be made of concrete and financed by Samdech Prime Minister. The Bridge will be named as Prek Chhrey bridge. .
