On December 12, 2007 the Municipality of Phnom Penh held promotion ceremony to appoint two Phnom Penh Deputy Governors and four Deputy Chiefs of Districts in the presence of H.E SORK SETHA, Secretary General of Administrative Department of the Ministry of Interior. Officials to be named are H.E CHEA SOTHON and CHAN SAM AN, Deputy Chief of Mean Chey District, MENG HONG and CHEA KEMA, Deputy chief of Reussey Keo district and SANG SOPHEAK VICHET, Deputy chief of Toul Kork district.

Speaking at the ceremony, H.E MAP SARIN, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh expressed his warm welcome to newly-appointed officials and called on them to work together to develop Phnom Penh city.
