• Meeting with Asia Millennium Campaign On STAND-UP CAMPAIGN AGAINST POVERTY FOR 2007

On Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 8:00 am, H.E. MANN CHHOEURN, vice governor of Phnom Penh Municipality, had a meeting with Mr. MINAR PIMPLE, Deputy Director of Asia Millennium Campaign, on STAND UP CAMPAIGN AGAINST POVERTY for 2007. It was attended by officials of Phnom Penh Municipality.

Firstly, H.E MANN CHHOEURN informed Mr. Deputy Director of Asia Millennium Campaign about the 2005 Stand-Up Campaign against Poverty in Phnom Penh City and other achievements which have been done under the leadership of H.E. KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh Municipality. H.E MANN CHHOEURN also presented the slices of Achieving Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

After that, Mr. MINAR PIMPLE, Deputy Director of Asia Millennium Campaign, showed his appreciation for the Municipality of Phnom Penh which conducted the STAND UP Campaign against Poverty in 2005. He was also strongly interested in the presentation of Achieving Millennium Development Goals in Phnom Penh City (MDGs).

Finally, Mr. Deputy Director of Asia Millennium Campaign informed the plan for the 2007 STAND UP Campaign against Poverty and promised to have good cooperation with the Municipality of Phnom Penh for this process.
