• Ceremony to Nominate Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh

On August 24, 2007 the Municipality of Phnom Penh held a ceremony to name H.E CHUOB KHON—former Deputy Governor of Preah Vihea as Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh in the presence of H.E PROUM SOKHA, Secretary of State for the Ministry of Interior and H.E PA SOCHEAT VONG, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Deputy governor said, « Phnom Penh has many jobs and challenges which are needed expert and distinguished officials to work together to develop Phnom Penh city. Also on that occasion, H.E PROUM SOKHA, called on Municipality leaderships as well as newly-appointed official to have close cooperation to serve people and nation».
