The Municipality of Phnom Penh on April 23, 2007 held wrap-up meeting for 2006 and work orientation for 2007 organized by Phnom Penh Drug Control Committee under the chairmanship of H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh, Brid Gen. TOUCH NARUTH, Municipal commisioner along with officials concerned.

According to Brid Gen. TOUCH NARUTH, during the period of 16 months from the beginning of 2006 to April 2007, Phnom Penh authorities cracked down on 58 drug cases in Phnom Penh, including the processing, producing, trafficking, distribution and using of drugs.

Speaking at the meeting, the Governor extended his admiration to police forces at all levels who have carried out their jobs with subsequent positive results and this transforms Phnom Penh into a city with security and law and order.
