High-level delegation from the Municipality of Phnom Penh headed by H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh arrived in Phnom Penh on April 16, 2007 after they took part in the 4th Word Mayor Summit in TURKEY, Istanbul City to be held on 13-15 April. 213 distinguished guests took part in the summit, including 67 Mayors from 67 countries, 123 Vice Mayors, 90 investors, Agency and NGOs representatives.

The World Mayor Summit is held every two years in member city and the summit this year is under of theme of «CITY IS THE BRIDGE FOR HUMAN BEING». The summit was intended to identify the similar challenges which occurred in the cities. The main objective was to ensure safety, security and development and to raise the living conditions of the people in the cities.
