• Ground Breaking Ceremony of Samdech Supreme Patriarch Choun Nat and Nak Pras Pirom Phea sa Ou statues

Under the leadership and initiative of Phnom Penh Governor and as approval by Samdech HUN SEN, on Sept 28, 2006 the Municipality of Phnom Penh celebrated ground breaking ceremony of Samdech Supreme Patriarch Choun Nat and Nak Pras Phirom Phea sa Ou statues. The ceremony was presided over by H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh and his wife along with city hall officials and students. - Chuon Nat status will be constructed at Samdech HUN SEN Park with the total area of 232 square meters. - While Pras Phirom Phea sa Ou statue will constructed at a park in front of Cambodianna Hotel. The both statues will be built by the professor of Fine Art and scheduled for completion within twelve months.
