On Kan Ben Day—Ben 12, H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh and his wife along with vice governors and city hall officials celebrated the food offering ceremony to offer food,offerings, necessities, 5 million riels and US $790 to 408 Buddhist monks in Botum Votey pagoda. The Governor also provided 300 students with money and rice. Each received 10,000 riels.
