On Sept 18, 2006 Phnom Penh Military Command led by H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh held a wrap-up meeting and work orientation. During the meeting, the Governor issued an order to military police forces in cooperation with chief of police to crack down on gambling dens which have no license. Touch Naruth, Chief of Phnom Penh Police revealed illegal gambling dens and its owners in certain districts. He also assigned police forces to cooperate with district governor to crack down on it. With regard to census of foreigners living in Phnom Penh, the Governor called on police forces to work together with local authorities to work accurately in accordance with Cambodia law.
