On October 25, 2006 H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh presided over inauguration ceremony of Wat Phnom Daun Penh stair. The event also attended by representatives of UNESCO, and many city hall officials. The stair repaired for three months and cost about 554.743.300 riels. Also on that occasion, the Governor called on Daun Penh authorities to preserve national heritage.
