Municipality of Phnom Penh always attends class-opening ceremony annually. This year, H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh presided over an opening ceremony for 2006-2007 academic year at Bak Touk High School. The school also celebrated ceremony to give rewards to students who won award in Phnom Penh, nation, abroad as well as students who ranked first to third from grade nine to grade twelve in their school. Out of 480 students, 60 won award, of whom four received gold medal, three received silver medal and five received bronze medal. Apart from students who received medal, 16 students who ranked from fourth to tenth obtained honor certificate and rewards from the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport. As for international competition, three students won award, each received Best Immediate Benefit Society, Consolation and honor medal of young scientist researcher on Physics.
