The Municipality of Phnom Penh held a ceremony to sign an agreement on awarding reconstruction contract to a French Company for renovating Central market complex. The agreement was reached between H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh, a representative of Cambodia side and Mr. VA CHANTHOL , ARTEVILLAPARC task force, a representative of French. The city hall requires the company that was awarded the contract to submit the document and revisit the construction project within 45 days and the company will also be required to complete within 18 months. The renovation was financed by French Agency for Central Market Development—AFD at an expected cost of $ 3.6 million.
