A German delegation led by H.E VOLKER SKLENAR, Agriculture Minister in charge of natural and environmental conservation from THURINGIA , GEMANY paid a courtesy call to and had a discussion with H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh on November 13, 2006. The discussion focused on the continued treatment of waste which can be used to produce to fertilizer. H.E LOLKER SKLENAR asked the Municipality of Phnom Penh for an area of 8.000 m2 areas at dump site which will be used by an organization to produce fertilizer. In response, H.E KEP CHUK TEMA agreed to the request, but said he would discuss the problem with JICA because it has provided fund to support Phnom Penh Solid Waste Management.
