On November 13, 2006 Dangkor District held a district integration workshop under the presidency of H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh Municipality. The workshop was aimed at harmonizing district-based plan and those drawn up by departments, NGOs, development partners, and donors for their smooth implementation and to bring local activities in line with national development policies and other areas. The seminar also to help communes learn from each other experiences developing their communes in a quicker and more efficient way.Also on that occasion the Governor declared the municipality would facilitate the participation of the residents in Dangkor district in contribution the constructing laterite road. The city hall would pay 80 percent of the cost while the residents pay 20 percent of the cost.
