LEOPOLD SEDAR SENGHOR Park was officially inaugurated on March 20, 2006 under the chairmanship of the French Ambassador to Cambodia, H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh Municipality. The event was also attended by many distinguish national and international guests. The park is situated next to Chroy Changva roundabout, in front of the French Embassy in Cambodia. The park inauguration today is to mark the 100th anniversary of Association Internationale des Maires Francophones( AIMF 1906- 2006) and also to mark March 20, French spoking countries( le 20 mars, Journée Internationale de la Francophonie).
