  • Japan Provides $ 894512 US in Grants to Cambodia for 5 projects

The Japanese government has agreed to provide $894.512US in grants to Cambodia for five projects. The handing over ceremony was held at the Japanese Embassy in Cambodia and attended by H.E TAKAHASHI Fumiaki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia and H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh. The agreement focuses on 5 important projects as follows:

To provide trucks to the Phnom Penh Solid Waste Management Authority for collecting the City’s waste.

Mine clearing

-

To Construct O’samdan Primary school in Pusat Province

-

An Education programme in Angkor Children’s Hospital and health care ecucation and capacity building for staff members of health care centres in the communities in Siem Reap Province.

The Governer took the opportunity to express his profound gratitude to the people and government of Japan who are always contributing to the development of Cambodia.
