H.E MANN CHHOEURN, vice governor of Phnom Penh Municipality on behalf of H.E. KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor, presided over the Workshop on Information Dissemination and Communication Materials on Avian Influenza, with the participation of Mr. DOUGLAS GARDNER, United Nation Coordinator to Cambodia, Mr. TOMOO HOZOMI, Representative of Unicef, Mr. ROS SOKHA, Chief of SEILA Program, Municipality officials, seven khan Chief, monks and officials from Departments involved.

Firstly, Mr. DOUGLAS GARDNER made the speech about Avian Influenza and expressed his appreciation to the Phnom Penh Municipality to hold this Workshop with the participation of involved departments and authority of all levels.

H.E MANN CHHOEURN made the speech and expressed gratitude to the United Nations to Cambodia, Representative of Unicef, Donnors such as Japanese and Australian governments for cooperation and support.

Mr SIENG SONEAT, Representative of Department of Agriculture, showed the slices how Avian Influenza spread from bird to bird and prevention, the slices how Avin Influenza spread from bird to human and prevention by Dr. MOM KY, Representative of Department of Health Care. The posters of Avian Influenza will be stuck everywhere soon.
