On July 12, 2006 the Municipality of Phnom Penh held workshop on ¨ Clean Water for Urban Environmental Sustainability ¨. The workshop was presided over by H.E MOK MARETH, Senior Minister and Minister for the Ministry of Environment, H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh. The workshop was also attended by Profess. IHAB FARAG and ROBERT MANN, a representative of USAID and several government officials. The Governor said at the workshop that water was vital for life. The Governor took the opportunity to express his gratitude to New Hampshire — the USA that always helps Phnom Penh with the implementation of the concept of clean water. The Minister acclaimed H.E KEP CHUK TEMA for attaining many significant achievements.
