On July 11, 2006 the Municipality of Phnom Penh held meeting on the opening of foreign market and customs and tax relief for Cambodia markets organized by Phnom Penh Department of Commerce in cooperation with Cabinet of Phnom Penh Municipality. The meeting was attended by H.E OU BUN, Vice Governor of Phnom Penh, Vice Technical General director for the Ministry of Commerce, Vice Department Director of ASEAN, international organizations along with Sangkat/Commune officials and businessmen. The goal of the meeting is to disseminate economic cooperation in free trade ASEAN and improve the distribution of goods and services in the region in a better way as well as increae productivity in a view to attract foreign investors and create jobs and incomes.
