• Closing National Seminar on the Preservation of Urban Heritage in Cambodia

The national two-day seminar on the Preservation of Urban Heritage in Cambodia was ended under the presidency of Deputy Prime Minister SOK ANN, Governor of Phnom Penh H.E KEP CHUK TEMA along with national and international guests, NGOs’ representatives, and officials. The seminar ended with participants agreeing on recommendations that were seen as a first step toward legal protection of Cambodia’s more recent historical legacy. The participants suggested public-private and housing policies, and developing criteria to identify and inventory heritage sites.
