• Phnom Penh Municipal Court Delivers Weapons and Explosive to Phnom Penh Police Commissariat

Phnom Penh Municipal Court held handing-over ceremony of weapons and explosives to Phnom Penh Police Commissariat on December 21, 2006. The ceremony was presided over by H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh, Mr. CHIV KENG, Chief of Municipal Court along with many officials. The weapons and explosives to be turned over were 154 rifles, 101 handguns, two Armbrust anti-tank grenade launchers, 3.307 rounds of ammunition, 11 grenades, 62 samurai swords and a large quantity of ammunition. Also on that occasion the Governor gave Municipal Court credit for its trying hard to control weapons and explosives that are the key evidences to penalize offenders and criminals. The Governor also appealed to all institutions to work together to ban on murder, shooting, as well as criminal ensuring security and security for the people living in Phnom Penh.
