The Municipality of Phnom Penh held workshop on an outcome of cooperation on traffic project with Paris on December 7, 2006. The workshop was presided over by H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh along with City Hall officials and journalists. «Currently Phnom Penh is growing rapidly, prompting the traffic congestion and particularly at Central Market area», said a French expert. Phnom Penh and Paris city have been working together so far to improve the living condition of Phnom Penh inhabitants. French experts added that the goal of traffic system improvement was to reduce passing across the Central market and provide more free space for customers and tourists and as well as make it easy for parking.
