On Tuesday, August 29, 2006, H.E MANN CHHOEURN, vice governor of Phnom Penh Municipality, had a Consultative Meeting with Mr ALAIN RABY, Project Coordinator and Ms ANN SOLDNER, Project Manager of Family Care Cambodia at the Municipality of Phnom Penh.

Mr. ALAIN RABY informed H.E MANN CHHOEURN that through the project of Family Care Cambodia, they have offered assistance in the Care, Education, Health and Training of a group of 50 children in the settlement by hosting weekly classes and activities. They are channeling donated supplies, food and clothing to poor families, and helping to rebuild the bamboo houses in one sector for the underprivileged residents of Sen Sabbay community, Russey Keo district. They have also launched a health and hygienne project and have organized free medical check-ups. It is their desire to continue to offer their time and efforts in voluntary work and humanitarian projects for the the benefit of the people of Cambodia.

H.E MANN CHHOEURN, vice governor of MPP, requests family Care Cambodia to consider to buy land and collaborate with Phnom Penh Municipality and involved departments to prepare infrastructures for the underprivileged residents of Sen Sabbay community, because they are living along the sidewalk. Mr. ALAIN RABY and Ms ANN SOLDNER accepted the request of H.E MANN CHHOEURN for discussion and inform later.
