On August 28, 2006 H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh presided over the Inauguration Ceremony of Street Hanoi located at Sangkat Khmern, Khan ReuseyKeo, Phnom Penh. The street is 10.200 meters long and seven meters wide and donated by Vietnamese people living in Hanoi city. The inauguration of the street is to mark the Vietnam’s 2 September Independence Day. It is an indicative of bound of solidarity, friendship and close cooperation between Phnom Penh and Hanoi City.
