• Dredge O’Veng and O’Bak Touk Canal to Evacuate Floodwater

On 8 August 2006, H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh, accompanied by expert officials and district authorities inspected Kilomet 9 mobile pumping station in Sangkat Svey Pak. He also visited drainage installation and basin construction site. On his visit, the Governor appealed to expert officials to build the pumping station with good quality and enlarge O’veng and O’Bak Touk canal by 10 meters wide and 4 meters depth. Because they are important to evacuate floodwater at the North of Phnom Penh where the people living in six Sangkat are often prone to fooding.
