H.E KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh Municipality, presided over the launch of a reconstruction project to repair street 156 and street 211 in Sangkat Vea Vong, Khan Chamkamon, Phnom Penh. The two would be paved with DBST by the Phnom Penh Department of public works and Transportation at a cost of 109 million riels and financed by the City Hall. The Governor took the opportunity to fine 100.000 riels for those who improperly dispose of waste into or near street gutters, drainage catch basins and lakes which could clog the drainage system and flood the capital if there was heavy rain.
