The Municipality of Phnom Penh will soon institute standard-size newsstands in order to upgrade the beauty of Phnom Penh and to maintain the public order. The governor of Phnom Penh KEP CHUK TEMA said he hoped all vendors would be using the 200$ stands or offered on a 5$ per month rent-to-own plan. Any vendors who do not wish to buy the municipality’s stands will be allowed to build their own so long as they conform to the office design.
