Phnom Penh Department of Social Affairs Veteran and Youth Rehabilitation held a workshop on the use of national budget chaired by the first vice governor of Phnom Penh H.E MAM BUNNEANG. After listening the report made by CHEA SOM, director of Department of Social Affairs, the vice governor praised the department for clearing vagabonds along the street of Phnom Penh and sent them to facilities for mandatory vocational training and some sent back to their homeland in line with the Ministry of Social Affairs. The vice governor took the opportunities to give some recommendations to the department of Social Affairs as follow:
- to pay to the veteran and retired civil servants in a timely way
- to manage the expenditure
- to continue to collect the vagabonds
- not to accept bribe.
