Republic of Poland Boulevard sign was inaugurated on June 22, 2005 under the presidency of H.E. KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh Municipality, H.E. KAZI MIERZ A DUCHOWSKI, Ambassador of Republic of Poland to Cambodia and LORK CHUMTEOV along with City Hall officials, students and teachers. Republic of Poland Blvd was an ex-street 161 located in Sangkat Beoung Prolet, Khan 7 Makara, Phnom Penh. The new name Blvd is the Symbol of friendship bond and well-cooperation between Republic of Poland and Kingdom of Cambodia.
